Governor Appoints Two New Board Members

Governor Doyle has appointed two new members to the Commerce Financing Boards.

Connie Seefeldt has been appointed to the Rural Economic Development (RED) Board. Connie and her husband, Jim, own and operate a 500-acre dairy farm in Coleman.

Seefeldt is a member of the Marinette County Board of Supervisors and the Wisconsin Counties Association. She is the Regional Representative to the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board and a Director of the National Dairy Board, as well as an active member in numerous other boards and organizations.

Kenneth Wanek has been appointed to the Wisconsin Development Fund (WDF) Board and is the founder, president and CEO of Datatrac, a market research company specializing in the banking industry. Datatrac monitors deposit and lending rates for over 16,000 financial institutions nationwide and is the exclusive provider of interest rate data for professional organizations. Wanek is also the president and founding member of the Wisconsin Chapter of the Young Entrepreneurs Organization (YEO). YEO is a nonprofit educational organization consisting of over 5,000 members worldwide. Membership is limited to individuals under the age of 40 who are a founder or owner of a business with gross annual revenues in excess of $1 million.
