New Appointments Made to the Rural Economic Development (RED) Board
Governor Doyle has appointed Richard Martin and Representative Amy Sue Vruwink to the Rural Economic Development (RED) Board.
Richard Martin has recently retired as part owner of Waupun Feed and Seed and has served as Oakfield Village President for the past ten years. He is also a Director of the Bank of Oakfield and has held this position for the past 17 years. He is also a member of various agricultural organizations and groups.
Representative Amy Sue Vruwink was elected to the Assembly in 2002 and represents Assembly District 70. She is a member of the Committee on Agriculture and the World Dairy Center Authority. She has also worked as Area Program Director for the Minnesota Farm Bureau.
These two join the following members of the RED Board:
Representative Scott Suder, Senator Russell Decker, Senator Ron Brown, Mike Krutza, President of Farm Credit Services-North Central Wisconsin, and Will Hughes, Division Administrator for Agricultural Development.
