Wisconsin Department of Commerce Logo Usage Guidelines

View and download various electronic versions of the Commerce logo. The logo is for use in newsletters and publications, electronic correspondence, web sites, and on other materials. Included are a black & white logo, color logo, web logo and PowerPoint presentation logo.

Logos are free to use as long as the following guidelines are followed:

• In order to keep the Commerce logo consistent in shape and typestyle, always maintain proportions so the image does not look stretched or distorted. When resizing for your publication, choose to resize it from a menu and type a value or measurement rather then dragging the border of the image which may cause it to become distorted.
• To maintain a consistent Commerce identity, the elements of the identity mark should not be separated from one another or altered in any way such as rotating it, incorporating the logo into other designs or adding new elements. The color logo must be red.

To download a logo, right-click on the underlined logo name and choose "Save Target As...".

Black & White Logo | download (269KB, .tif)
The Black & White Logo is to be used for B&W publications, etc. The B&W logo is a high resolution TIFF file suitable for use in professional printing. It can be resized to a much greater degree than the letterhead logo and still yield good results.

Color Logo | download (800KB, .tif)
The Color Logo is to be used for all color publications, etc. It is a high resolution TIFF file suitable for use in professional printing. It can be resized to a much greater degree than the letterhead logo and still yield good results.

Web Logo | download (14KB, .png)
The file for use on the Web is in PNG format and has a small file size for quick download. This logo can be resized, but may appear blurry if enlarged too far. This logo has a white background. If a different color background is required, contact Technical Services.

PowerPoint Logo | download (42KB, .tif)
The file for use in PowerPoint presentations is in TIFF format. Because this logo has been optimized for screen viewing it has a much smaller file size than the color logo, which will keep the file size of your PowerPoint presentations small. This logo has a white background and can be resized with good results.

Letterhead Logo | download (5KB .png)
The Letterhead Logo is for use on all letterhead stationery. The letterhead logo has been sized to the appropriate size for use on Commerce letterhead. It is a low resolution black and white bitmap file suitable for printing on office laser printers. The file's small size yields quick results when printing on office equipment.

Vector Graphics | download (611KB, .esp) or download (394KB, .ai)
These files can be output to the highest quality at any scale. Both formats were created using Adobe Illustrator, vector, layers and created on PC.

Transparent Logo | download Red (8KB, .gif) or download Black (9KB, .gif)
The Transparent Logo is to be used for cases where the logo must be placed over a seperate background color.
