IMPORTANT: As of July 1st, 2011, functions once performed by the Wisconsin Department of Commerce have been moved to other state agencies and the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation. The former Commerce web site will continue to exist for the next several months as resources are moved to new web site locations. Small & Medium Manufacturers seeking technical assistance to assess and benchmark current operations, facilitate modernization strategy development and guidance in successfully implementing change are served by two programs depending on location.

Export Development Managers work one-on-one with companies to assess the demand for Wisconsin-made products, solve export problems, and plan for future export successes. There is no charge for our consulting services. Each of our Export Development Managers has developed a greater expertise in a different part of the world. They can help you understand the business culture of another country and how to best respond to foreign inquiries. They can also help you identify other important issues that can affect how customers in other countries may respond to your product.
