NEWS
A public hearing will be held July 28, 2009, on proposed
changes to Comm 2, Fee Code, and Comm 5, Licenses, Certifications and
Registrations Code, relating to continuing education course submittals
and credential application fees. The hearing is set for 1 p.m. in Conference Room 3C of the Thompson Commerce Building in Madison. See hearing notice, PDF file, and draft code language, PDF file.

Program
Description: The
Safety and Buildings Division administers the
certifications,
licenses, and registrations of approximately 72,000 individuals in 69
categories. Examples of services are processing of new applications and
renewals, exam administration, renewals, continuing education records,
and continuing education course approval. Exams are held each month.
Most certification, registration, and licensing
services are located in the Madison offices.
