Make Mine a Million $ Business Race to Launch in Wisconsin
For Immediate Release: February 16, 2009 MADISON - The Department of Commerce (Commerce) welcomed Nell Merlino, the founder and CEO of Count Me In For Women's Economic Independence, for the Wisconsin launch event of the Make Mine a Million $ Business RACE (M3 RACE) on February 16 at the Department in Madison. Invited sponsors and supporters of the 2007 Make Mine a Million $ Business® conference heard about the exciting year-long business growth on-line "marathon" to inspire women entrepreneurs to hit their revenue goals and help them create jobs and secure their families' future. "The M3 RACE provides business coaching and expert advice, innovative on-line business growth resources, access to new markets and a supportive community of peers", said Commerce Secretary Richard J. Leinenkugel. "The success of the Make Mine a Million $ Business program is evident by the growth and job creation of the eight winners of the 2007 M3 Business Conference. "Ms. Merlino's goal is to inspire one million women entrepreneurs to reach the $1 million revenue mark by 2010 and Wisconsin wants to be a part of that enormous stimulus to the US economy," concludes Sec. Leinenkugel.
