IMPORTANT: As of July 1st, 2011, functions once performed by the Wisconsin Department of Commerce have been moved to other state agencies and the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation. The former Commerce web site will continue to exist for the next several months as resources are moved to new web site locations. We will make every attempt possible to direct our users to the new locations as web resources are moved.
Community Development Community Development has a broad range of financial and technical assistance programs to community vitality, and expand economic opportunities. By providing these resources through local governments and other agencies low-moderate income Wisconsin households, communities, and businesses benefit from these programs. Eligible projects include the expansion of jobs, business development, tax base and the reuse of vacant land or building and related activities.
Housing has now become the Division of Housing with the Department of Administration. The new website can be found at housing.wi.gov
