Events of Interest to WBE's One of the advantages
of being a Woman-Owned Business Enterprise certificate holder is the
access to special forums for networking with corporations that want to
do business with WBE's. It's also important to learn about ways
that you may utilize the certification to expand your markets.
Events listed below are not endorsed by the Department of

SAGE - "Success - A Group Effort" - The
Small Business Development Center and the Small Business Administration
will sponsor a women's procurement conference on June 25, 2008 at the
USDA Forest Service in Madison. This conference will provide
businesses with information about business matchmaking and how to use
the internet to find the right contacts for expanded business

The Business Procurement Assistance Center (BPAC) provides technical and
marketing assistance to Wisconsin businesses interested in selling their
products and services to the federal government. Entry-level
seminars provides a solid orientation to the federal contracting
environment for those women-owned businesses interested in expanding

The Wisconsin Procurement Institute (WPI) guides, trains and provides hands-on assistance to firms in developing
government business and improving process and technical capabilities to access
